Produced from raw milk from cows raised in the Swiss mountains, thecheeseraclette grill Orsières embodies the quintessence of Valais.

Following the merger at the beginning of January 2017 of the Somlaproz and Orsières dairy, the idea of building a new cheese factory seemed obvious with the aim of locating it on the Grand-St-Bernard axis downstream of the village of 'Orsières.
The Orsières dairy company is made up of 22 members, peak production is 127 pieces/day to produce a total of around 26,000 pieces over the year, mainly Raclette AOP du Valais.

Our raclette cheese was first honored with a Gold medal at the Swiss local products competition in 2021.
Then he won 2nd place at the Swiss Cheese Awards in 2022.
